Who is Lisa?
Hi, I'm Lisa — a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 15 years of experience leading finance and accounting teams across various industries. I’ve held roles ranging from Controller to Senior Vice President of Finance, where I oversaw accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), as well as financial reporting.
Throughout my career, I've built accounting departments from the ground up, led system implementations, streamlined processes, and worked side-by-side with leadership teams to support smart strategic growth. I've managed everything from month-end closes and audits to payroll, commission structures, and team development — all while keeping a close eye on the details that matter most — to deliver accurate financial results.
As an Accounting Consultant, I'm passionate about partnering with businesses to bring insight and structure to your financials. Whether it's cleaning up your books, setting up reports you can truly understand, or building accounting processes that grow with you, I'm here to help you feel confident about your financial numbers.
I grew up in middle Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee with dual degrees in Finance and Marketing. In 2011, I moved to Denver. A few years later, I met my husband (at a bar in Lodo), and planted roots in Denver. We now have two children and a dog (who thinks she's one of the kids). We love exploring everything that Denver and the surrounding areas have to offer.
